Amber leaves work the next night with a promotion. Now, instead of a fan, she is a Roadie, but she doesn’t seem to be too much happier about it. Being the domineering sim that she is, I guess that becoming the slaves of people she wants to be like isn’t her idea of fun. Well, she shall have her day when she becomes a rock star.

Amber immediately rolls up a want to have a formal party, and because she has the next day off, I decided to let her have that party the following afternoon. (Sorry, I’ll have to jump around a little for lack of screenshots)

She stands in her party, looking shy for the first time…ever.

That is, until she spots a gate-crasher, who suddenly decides it would be a good idea to take Amber’s guitar with the apparent intention of playing it.

When she’s gotten him to put her guitar down and her anger subsides, she’s decided that she would scream “Woo!” at him.

They seemed to hit it off after that, and Amber thinks that maybe this is her first shot at a boyfriend in this hick town.

Somebody moves fast…and somebody is married! Still, Amber pursues him and decides that no one can resist her flirty ways. She rolls up a couple wants to kiss him, to flirt with him…

Poor guy.

Julia arrived a couple minutes after the pizza did, and it was then that I realized that this party hadn’t been cleared with her. Julia was clearly wondering why all these people were in her house, why Amber was dancing like a wild woman, and why Zelda Mae was putting on a semi-concert in the yard. Everyone’s faces dashed through her thoughts, as she stood there, observing.

Used to her sister’s spur-of-the-moment ways, Julia settles down to read a book while Amber deals with the issues of her guests.

It takes her two hours and several shaken fingers to get her Virtuoso mother, Grace, to put down her guitar. By that time, all the guests are leaving, raving about how great this party was, and that people will be talking about it for a long time.

Their parents, however, don’t seem to be getting the hint.

Robert makes several trips to his daughters’ kitchen and eats what I would think would be the entire content of their fridge. He doesn’t seem to mind that he’s left plates all over their floor.

Finally, the parents leave, leaving Amber and poor Julia to the mess.

Well, for now, anyway, Lila will remain undiscovered. (if you have no idea what I’m talking about read the previous post.) I have decided that I am going to continue with Amber and Julia’s story, and try to make my original plan work. Please understand that I am a full-time high school student, and I probably cannot post every night. But, I will try to play and get ahead on weekends, so that I can post 3 or 4 times during the week if I have time. If I can’t post during the week, I’ll do a couple extra on the weekend to make up for it. Also, when you check for posts, it’d be a good idea to scroll down to the bottom to my recent posts to see if you’ve missed anything since sometimes I’ll do many at a time on weekends.

Please comment, guys, so that I have motivation – something to keep me posting. And tell me who you’d like to see more of, who you’d like to see less of, and who your favorite twin is. Believe it or not, I love hearing that stuff. =) But, anyway, I’ll get the next post up as soon as possible. Thanks for not exploding at me while I’ve been so indecisive. I made Lila Morris – a cute, feisty redhead who was made homeless by her parents’ untimely death. She has no family to take care of her, and absolutely no money. The blog would be about her trying to make it and what gets in her way. But at the beginning there wouldn’t be that many pictures, because I wasn’t really intending at first for this to be a blog. In the morning, Amber wakes long before Julia. Julia got to sleep pretty late last night because of all the reading and stargazing that she did.

After bathing, for some reason, Amber decides to make breakfast only for herself and not for her over-sleeping sister, even though work for Amber doesn’t start until 3, and Julia starts at 9. This could seriously slow her down.

When Julia finally woke, she had an hour before the carpool would come, and she wasn’t even fully rested. After quickly showering, she headed downstairs.

A bowl of cereal isn’t very nutritious or filling, but it’s all Julia has time for. She eats it while the carpool sits outside, and when she’s finished, it’s already gone and she’s late for work.

This won’t impress her boss much.

Back at home, Amber practices her guitar. Being a virtuoso sim, music comes naturally to her and she already sounds good. At least she’s off to a good start on her day, even if Julia isn’t. After practicing, Amber decides to spend the rest of her time before work – you guessed it -

- in front of the mirror, gussying up and checking herself out. She headed to work, and I watched the car drive away. A couple hours later, I spotted Julia standing outside of her work office, about to faint of pure exhaustion. Before I could tell her to do anything, she got on her bike and went home.

She headed straight for her bed and took a nap, do not pass GO, do not collect 200 dollars. She had a want to make friends with her boss, and I was planning on letting her do that, but at the moment, she was too tired to do anything.

Julia woke before Amber got off of work, and her stomach sent her right to the kitchen. She opted for canned soup, and sat down to eat that. The time told me that it was time for Amber’s day at work to end, so I checked the theatre for her.

She was on her way home. When Amber was inside and had gotten soup of her own, guess what position I found Julia in?

Again, I let the girls act on their own. But this time, I saw something different.

 They’re actually getting along! Amber’s not yelling! Perhaps she is capable of being polite!

Maybe not…

After having made the entire move by herself with no help from her twin sister, Julia sets off into town in search of relaxation of some kind before the first day of work as a Snitch tomorrow. Home certainly isn’t the place for that, because Amber is there as far as Julia knows. But what is she doing there?

That would be taking a call from her childish father. Though she’s not screaming at him, it doesn’t seem like she’s particularly enjoying this conversation – her hatred of children is to blame.

Meanwhile, Julia has found a quiet place to surf the web. I was going to have her join a book club to satisfy her want, but something caused her to repeatedly bang her head on the keyboard. I watched her do this for about a minute until someone approached her, wishing to sit in her seat and use his laptop. Out of free will, Julia stood and introduced herself to him like the friendly sim that she is.

After a short chat, he immediately took her seat, so Julia decided it was time to go.

As she was walking away, Julia spotted the bachelor family having a picnic in the park. She remembers how, growing up, her family could never do this because Amber never wanted to. Julia gets an idea that her family could have a picnic, and straight away, she takes off toward her parents house on her bike.

At the pool, Amber has an idea as well. Hers is more along the lines of showing off her new bikini, though.

Before that’s possible, though, she spots her new boss, Zelda Mae. A little schmoozing for a promotion couldn’t hurt.

As often happens, Amber gets very rude, very fast. Seeing no promotion in the near future unless she kicks butt at the guitar, she decides to go home rather than stay here with her now-angry boss.

Julia is going that way, too, now, after finding her parent’s house empty. When she gets home, she doesn’t look too happy to see Amber there.

Amber looks less than thrilled, too.

When they’re done glaring at each other, I let them act of their own accord with free will. Julia chooses to read (as she does with every spare second of her days) in Amber’s room, and Amber just checks herself out in her mirror. They don’t interact at all for the whole day.

At this point, Amber was exhausted, so I let her go to bed. Julia wasn’t quite there yet, so I let her read another book. After that, she went outside to stargaze with her telescope so she could gain a logic skill point for her job.

Julia finally went to bed, trying to get the best night’s sleep she could for her first day on the job tomorrow.

This is Julia Way. She’s a good, ambitious, friendly bookworm who also happens to be a genius. Her life’s wish is to become a Forensic Specialist: a Dynamic DNA Profiler, and she’s got a job in that career(law enforcement) right now. She’s always felt a little resentment towards her sister for just being so rude. On top of that, she had also always gotten more attention that Julia, had all the guys, and was just so good at music. Julia tries to make nice with her sometimes, but Amber isn’t the easiest person to reason with, and she usually finds a way to yell at Julia.

This is Amber Way. She is a flirty, mean-spirited, virtuoso (musical) sim who is a party animal and dislikes children. It is her life’s dream to become a rock star, and she’s doing pretty well on that path. She plays her guitar all the time, and she is currently in the music career track, working her way up to stardom. Amber has never liked Julia, because Julia has always been the smart one. She would hardly have to try and she could get an A! Amber, on the other hand, almost failed out of school. Music was all she had. That still doesn’t give her a reason to be so rude, though…
